The AMD Radeon R9 Fury X Video Card was announced today and it will be launched on June 24th for $649. The air cooled Fiji GPU powered card is called the Radeon R9 Fury and it is coming in July for $549. A yet to be announced dual-GPU card with Fiji will be coming in the fall for those that want such a card. The AMD Radeon R9 Fury X has 4096 Stream Processors, 8.6 Tflops of compute power and 8.9 billion transistors. The AMD Radeon R9 290X video card that the Fury X replaces as the flagship GPU had 2816 Stream Processors, 5.6 Tflops and 6.3 billion transistors. AMD claims that this card was designed to be different and really was tuned for high resolution DX12 gaming. We can’t wait to get one to benchmark!
